Meet the Fam

Greetings, everyone! I'm Orit, pronounced OrEat, rhyming with feet ;-) I hold engineering degrees from the University of Michigan and Northwestern University. I am also a consultant at Baronite Materials Engineering Consulting. In addition to my professional background, I am married and have two daughters, one of whom was diagnosed with Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis (JIA) in January 2021.

As an engineer, encountering a diagnosis labeled "idiopathic" (i.e., unknown root cause) was unsettling. This prompted me to delve into extensive research on JIA, aiming to gain a better understanding of this condition. Along my journey, I have gained valuable insights that I am excited to share with all of you through this blog. I also cannot wait to hear from you!
